[ Phone | Filtered from Drones ]

As you may have heard from Mr. Edelstein's phone call, there will hopefully be a concert come this November. I am asking myself if there would be anyone interested in attending so that I can see how many seats, tickets, and possibly concessions we'll need. If you'll give me your name and where I can find you, it would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

--also, there has been something on my mind as of late. If you're one of the countries as Mr. Jones so aptly said himself, would you mind replying here and then give me a brief description as to how you were born and/or discovered? I realize that this is a weird question and rather forward, but I do thank you for your time given. It's just that this sort of thing isn't in my world, so I'm rather curious. So, if you may, then thank you.

[ Welp, it looks like not even Diana's free of the bullies. Due to all the extra work she's been doing with her classes and with her alchemy - the latter she's been keeping under wraps for a good reason - it surely has earned her some comments such as "teacher's pet", "nerd" or anything of the sort. And, well, since she can't really defend herself other than with her tongue to get herself out of her situations, since she's backed into a corner. But, she's standing straight and tall to show that she's not afraid of these bullies. ]

Please let me go. What have I done to you?

We don't like how smart you are! Why don't you dumb it down, idiot?

That's your retort? Come now, we're in high school. Shouldn't you have left the playground insults back in--

[ Her remark goes unfinished as one of the kids shoves her up to a locker and aims a punch right for Diana's cheek. She's taken back since not even her own parents hit her. She wishes she had her telekinesis back since that would make quick work of these idiots. Still, she's managing to stay strong. Perhaps you want to help her out of this predicament she's gotten herself in? ]

[ This is clearly no place for a girl to be, right? Well, Diana thinks differently and while she's chatting it up with the drone mechanics, she manages to sweet talk her way in letting her see what they've got so that she can use it. While most of the parts are defective, she does find a few that she can use for what she has in mind and quietly places the parts in her bag. When she's done with the so-called "tour" of the area, she curtsies like a good girl would to any friendly gentleman. But, she decides to stick around and see what else can be of use to her. ]

[ Diana has been noticing that Mokou just hasn't been the strong woman she knows she can be. So, she decides to go to where she is and approach her with a slight frown on her face. ]

May I have a moment with you, Mokou?

[ Shana leads them to the Diner, and orders them shakes, feeling generous today. .... okay, not really generous, she totally palmed the money off the drone bully she just buswrecked. But nobody needs to know that. ]

Here we are, then.

[ Well, hey - any way to get money is fine with her. ]

I don't think I've ever had a milkshake before.

Really? Where are you from?

Epyaxa, but more specifically, Neo-England.

My world, you mean?

That's right!

What do you want to know? It's a broad question, but I can help narrow it down for you.

Let's start with why do you call it Neo-England?

[ Action: Mayfield High. ]

[identity profile] notalwystrthful.livejournal.com 2011-11-10 01:24 pm (UTC)(link)
That's because the Earth died out from overusing the natural resources that it had and people weren't giving back to it, so due to that, people took what they could and fled Earth as it was dying.

Well, I can't say I find that to be surprising, honestly.

It wasn't, but that's how the cookie crumbles. Back on my planet, though, there's much stricter laws and regulations so that Epyaxa itself doesn't destabilize. So, it's healthier for people overall.

That's pretty smart, actually. I'm impressed.

It really is a great place to live. Everyone tries to help each other out, no matter what.

[identity profile] flameyedhunter.livejournal.com 2011-11-12 12:40 am (UTC)(link)
It really would take destroying earth for something like that, wouldn't it? Mou.

[identity profile] notalwystrthful.livejournal.com 2011-11-12 12:51 am (UTC)(link)
Well, after people realized what their mistakes were when the Earth died, they learned from them and went to put laws into place to make sure the past wasn't repeated.

[identity profile] flameyedhunter.livejournal.com 2011-11-12 12:52 am (UTC)(link)
People actually learning from history is a pretty novel concept.

[identity profile] notalwystrthful.livejournal.com 2011-11-12 01:47 am (UTC)(link)
Isn't it, though? But, it does reaffirm your faith in humanity a little that people can do just that.

[identity profile] flameyedhunter.livejournal.com 2011-11-12 03:50 am (UTC)(link)
You're right. So... you're from this place, did you have any family there?

[identity profile] notalwystrthful.livejournal.com 2011-11-12 07:38 am (UTC)(link)
Of course. There's my mother, my father, and myself in my house back home.

[identity profile] notalwystrthful.livejournal.com 2011-11-13 09:28 am (UTC)(link)
Well, my mother is a very strong woman and doesn't let people boss her around. She's the CEO and CFO of our family company and my father joins her at her side by being an engineer. The both of them work on financing and building skyscrapers for people to use.

They are a bit busy, though, but I don't mind. They usually try to be there for me at the end of the day.

[identity profile] flameyedhunter.livejournal.com 2011-11-13 07:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Hm, I guess you must miss them a lot then.

[identity profile] notalwystrthful.livejournal.com 2011-11-14 10:37 am (UTC)(link)
I do, but I'd think they'd be proud of how far I've come without them.
