[ Phone | Filtered from Drones ]
As you may have heard from Mr. Edelstein's phone call, there will hopefully be a concert come this November. I am asking myself if there would be anyone interested in attending so that I can see how many seats, tickets, and possibly concessions we'll need. If you'll give me your name and where I can find you, it would be much appreciated.
Thank you.
--also, there has been something on my mind as of late. If you're one of the countries as Mr. Jones so aptly said himself, would you mind replying here and then give me a brief description as to how you were born and/or discovered? I realize that this is a weird question and rather forward, but I do thank you for your time given. It's just that this sort of thing isn't in my world, so I'm rather curious. So, if you may, then thank you.

[ Welp, it looks like not even Diana's free of the bullies. Due to all the extra work she's been doing with her classes and with her alchemy - the latter she's been keeping under wraps for a good reason - it surely has earned her some comments such as "teacher's pet", "nerd" or anything of the sort. And, well, since she can't really defend herself other than with her tongue to get herself out of her situations, since she's backed into a corner. But, she's standing straight and tall to show that she's not afraid of these bullies. ]
Please let me go. What have I done to you?
We don't like how smart you are! Why don't you dumb it down, idiot?
That's your retort? Come now, we're in high school. Shouldn't you have left the playground insults back in--
[ Her remark goes unfinished as one of the kids shoves her up to a locker and aims a punch right for Diana's cheek. She's taken back since not even her own parents hit her. She wishes she had her telekinesis back since that would make quick work of these idiots. Still, she's managing to stay strong. Perhaps you want to help her out of this predicament she's gotten herself in? ]
[ Action: Greased Lightning Garage. ]
[ This is clearly no place for a girl to be, right? Well, Diana thinks differently and while she's chatting it up with the drone mechanics, she manages to sweet talk her way in letting her see what they've got so that she can use it. While most of the parts are defective, she does find a few that she can use for what she has in mind and quietly places the parts in her bag. When she's done with the so-called "tour" of the area, she curtsies like a good girl would to any friendly gentleman. But, she decides to stick around and see what else can be of use to her. ]

[ Diana has been noticing that Mokou just hasn't been the strong woman she knows she can be. So, she decides to go to where she is and approach her with a slight frown on her face. ]
May I have a moment with you, Mokou?

[ Diana has been noticing that Mokou just hasn't been the strong woman she knows she can be. So, she decides to go to where she is and approach her with a slight frown on her face. ]
May I have a moment with you, Mokou?

[ Diana sighs. She's gotten tired of their farce. ]
Minako, if you wouldn't mind - I've gotten tired of this. Care to help a girl out here?
[ action; school ]
[ And with a last glance towards the one boy, she walks over to the remaining drones and pries their hands off Diana, at the very least. ]
I think it's pretty tiresome to deal with these things as well.
[ action; school ]
Unfortunately. I don't see why they need to tear someone else down just to make themselves feel better at the end of the day.
[ action; school ]
It wasn't very different in the idol industry back home either, so I'm experienced with this sort of thing as well.
[ action; school ]
Let me guess, the paparazzi were endless?
[ action; school ]
And they were. But the worst were the other idols, who thought that since it was a competition, they might as well ruin the others' reputations.
[ action; school ]
[ Though, that's all what it is in the business world. There, it's a dog eat dog world and everyone wants to climb to the top. Initially, she wouldn't have given a care in the world about this, but with friends like Ed and Minako around, she's starting to see that it's not the way people should go about things. In fact, that's just ... cruel. And she doesn't want to be like that anymore. That sort of thing will just make her lonely again.
And she never wants to be like that. She never wants to be lonely ever again. The friends and acquaintances she made in Mayfield so far are valuable and she cherishes each one. And, she's grateful for their help in their own little way. ]
What do you say to getting out of here and doing something? For example, just... girl time - you and me.
[ action; school ]
But now.. well, what reason did she have to say no, really? ]
... Sure. Sounds like a plan to me, Diana.
[ action; school ]
All right. Let's go.
[ And, despite the fact that she's still a touch uncomfortable with people touching her, she'll offer her hand out for Minako. ]
[ action; school ]
Yeah. It'll be fun. [ And she grabs that hand. ]
[ action; school ]
Mm. Hopefully there is some fun to be had around here. [ She makes sure to hold on tight to her hand - just not too tight. ]
[ action; school ]
[ And with that her smile gets almost a bit michievous, and she laughs slightly. ]
[ action; school ]
[ It's all in jest. She gives Minako a mischievous smile back, laughing as well. ]
[ action; school ]
Don't worry, I'm usually more straightforward about it.
[ action; school ]
Oh, well then - I'll watch out for when you're serious about it.
[ action; school ]
Rest assured, if I had a problem with you I would already have told you a long time ago.
[ action; school ]
Well, good. I appreciate the honesty, Minako.
[ action; school ]
[ action; school ]
[ She means like in a purely friendship way, but it does signify that she feels close to you. ]
[ action; school ]
I don't hear it all that often that people like that part of me.
