[ Phone | Filtered from Drones ]
As you may have heard from Mr. Edelstein's phone call, there will hopefully be a concert come this November. I am asking myself if there would be anyone interested in attending so that I can see how many seats, tickets, and possibly concessions we'll need. If you'll give me your name and where I can find you, it would be much appreciated.
Thank you.
--also, there has been something on my mind as of late. If you're one of the countries as Mr. Jones so aptly said himself, would you mind replying here and then give me a brief description as to how you were born and/or discovered? I realize that this is a weird question and rather forward, but I do thank you for your time given. It's just that this sort of thing isn't in my world, so I'm rather curious. So, if you may, then thank you.

[ Welp, it looks like not even Diana's free of the bullies. Due to all the extra work she's been doing with her classes and with her alchemy - the latter she's been keeping under wraps for a good reason - it surely has earned her some comments such as "teacher's pet", "nerd" or anything of the sort. And, well, since she can't really defend herself other than with her tongue to get herself out of her situations, since she's backed into a corner. But, she's standing straight and tall to show that she's not afraid of these bullies. ]
Please let me go. What have I done to you?
We don't like how smart you are! Why don't you dumb it down, idiot?
That's your retort? Come now, we're in high school. Shouldn't you have left the playground insults back in--
[ Her remark goes unfinished as one of the kids shoves her up to a locker and aims a punch right for Diana's cheek. She's taken back since not even her own parents hit her. She wishes she had her telekinesis back since that would make quick work of these idiots. Still, she's managing to stay strong. Perhaps you want to help her out of this predicament she's gotten herself in? ]

[ This is clearly no place for a girl to be, right? Well, Diana thinks differently and while she's chatting it up with the drone mechanics, she manages to sweet talk her way in letting her see what they've got so that she can use it. While most of the parts are defective, she does find a few that she can use for what she has in mind and quietly places the parts in her bag. When she's done with the so-called "tour" of the area, she curtsies like a good girl would to any friendly gentleman. But, she decides to stick around and see what else can be of use to her. ]

[ Diana has been noticing that Mokou just hasn't been the strong woman she knows she can be. So, she decides to go to where she is and approach her with a slight frown on her face. ]
May I have a moment with you, Mokou?

[ Well, Diana's finished here and it seems like Riza would be a good ally to have, so... ]
I can do it now. I don't have much else to do.
[ Action | Outside the Garage ]
I would very much appreciate your help.
[ Action | Outside the Garage ]
[ She trails off with a little shrug before nodding. ]
Did you want to do it at your house or mine?

I attempted to lock the phones once or twice, but I'm never sure if I've done it right. I've never been gifted with technology; that has always been Sergeant Major Fuery's job. He was good enough at it for all of us, I suppose.
[Leading the way!]
[ooc: we don't really have to..tag out her teaching how to do the locky thing X_x; I dunno if you'd want to. And also I am really sorry we do have to backtag forever and ever and ever. AND ALSO, I saw your thread with Mustang in his regain post, and I have an interesting idea XD I should probably just find you on plurk haha but Riza regained the tattoo that has all of the information of Mustang's alchemy circle on it. It would be an interesting conversation!
I'm mean to her -_-][ Action | Outside the Garage ]
[ And Diana will diligently follow! ]
( OOC: Oh, pshaw - I always backtag stuff. I'd rather finish a thread than just leave it hanging there like cold turkey. Don't worry so much, okay? :D )
[ Action | Outside the Garage ]
I can imagine. I don't particularly trust the phone lines, as I've heard they aren't very safe. Even locked, I'm not sure I'll trust them too much.
[ Action | Outside the Garage ]
There's always that factor to take into account and it's a smart move to make. I try to not use them too much, myself, for that very same reason.
[ Action | Outside the Garage ]
[Riza looks at the phone curiously, waiting for Diana to explain because she just doesn't get it.]
[ Action | Outside the Garage ]
[ Well, the more you know. Knowledge is power, blah blah blah. However, she picks up the phone and holds it to Riza's ear. ]
When the operator comes on, you have to try to convince them to filter the conversation to just you and one person. Go ahead and try.
[ Action | Outside the Garage ]
[She stops mid-sentence when Diana puts the phone to her ear, listening for the operator and nodding that she'd understood Diana's instructions. Ready, Diana? Riza can actually be a pretty convincing liar when she needs to be.]
Yes? Hello, operator. This is Mrs. Mustang, and I'd like to speak to my husband, please. I think he's still at school grading papers. Is there any way you'd be willing to put me through just to him? [A pause, and Riza laughs, light and airy.] It's nothing important, but it is a rather private conversation. I'm sure you understand, it is really a conversation that only a husband and his wife can have.
[Convincing enough?]
[ Action | Outside the Garage ]
The operator does do as they're instructed, connecting Riza right to Roy at the high school. ]
Nice work, Miss Hawkeye.
[ Action | Outside the Garage ]
[Her demeanor changed immediately after the call went through, and after explaining the rationale for the unusual call she then she hangs up.]
Thank you, Diana. I do have some practice at this. Had I know this was as simple as convincing the operator, I would've been able to do this already.
[ Action | Outside the Garage ]
[ Though, it is a nice convenience, nonetheless. ]

You can also slip notes into things. It was never beyond my unit to pass information through a local florist. I don't know if you've met General Armstrong, yet, but that's one of the advantages of her working in the flower shop here. A network that we've grown rather accustomed to using is still usable.
