[ Well, after things have been pretty much completed in her lab, Diana has taken the initiative to make a small cubby hole in the corner of a library and is pretty much sleeping in it. Now that her projects are done, she can finally let herself sit back and relax for once. There's a book over her face to block out the light and possibly the sounds too. Other than that, she actually looks peaceful for once. Do you wish to wake her up from this? ]

[ Though, if the library isn't your thing, later on she can be found in the music room by the piano and is playing Beethoven's Fur Elise just to warm herself up. She plans on spending quite a bit of time here just to unwind and relax even further. The door is open to hear this music playing. ]

[ To continue in her relaxation, Diana's taken to sitting under a tree and has her eyes closed. It appears as if she's meditating to help clear her mind. The quiet sounds of nature and the sounds of animals moving around ease her even more. Sure, she knows that her guard may be down, but she's diligent to open her eyes if anyone approaches her. ]

[Cain had been hurrying through on his way home from school, not wanting to keep Abel waiting and make him worry now that the town was going crazy. Seeing Diana, he hesitated a moment, would he be disturbing her to approach..?]

[ Diana registered that was Cain speaking and she opened her eyes to greet him with a friendly wave. ]

I don't want to keep Abel waiting, he'll worry if I'm too late home from school.

Ah, actually, yes. He's been teaching me how to fire a gun, so I wanted to ask him if he'd give me another lesson.

[That takes him a bit by surprise, and there's mild disapproval in his eyes as he replies.]

I'm sure he's a very good teacher.

[ Diana takes a moment to notice the mild disapproval. Hm, that would have to be something she'd discuss with Abel when the time comes. ]

[He has no doubt about that. They might be young where he is from, but Abel is already proficient with a number of weapons as well as his fists.]

Why do you want to learn how to use a gun?

I can't rely on just my wits alone in a fight, right? So, while my first option wasn't to use a gun, it's a convenience I otherwise would not have had if I didn't decide to speak up about learning how to protect myself.

[ She pauses and her expression becomes serious. ]

It's all because I don't want to have to rely on others, too, to protect me when a crisis comes. That, and I don't want to see my friends and loved ones get hurt when I can prevent that from happening. So, if I need to take up firearms, then I'm more than happy to do so.
