I'm not going to bother with this silly "homecoming" event. You may have your fun, but I won't be a part of it. Thank you very much.

Also, if you're a tailor, seamstress, or anything of the like - may I have a moment of your time? I'd like to put in a request for something to be made.

[ A few days after music class with Austria, Diana has decided to practice a few pieces of varying music either in the auditorium of the high school, right in the music room, or hell - even in the church. She's not religious by any means, but she will make use of what she has to her. And, so, she can be found at the organ in the church, playing this piece. It's honestly a challenge to her, but it's a welcome one. Go ahead and bother her, but try to not interrupt her from her playing. She's very intently focused on this. ]

[ Action | Mayfield High ]

[ While Diana's in her classes, she's busy scribbling down not the notes, but yet transmutation circles. She's making herself learn new ones as well as applying the knowledge she already has. She's humming a little song under her breath, her eyes closed. At least she isn't falling randomly asleep. Yet. ]

[ Action | Around Mayfield ]

[ Maybe school or the church is not for you, so Diana can be found bustling in various shops to buy posterboard and other such materials. While she'd like to design her posters on a computer, she doesn't have that option available to her, unfortunately. Again, she'll make do with what she has for now. She does seem to be a little distracted as she's figuring out how to design the posters to make them visually pleasing and invite as many people as possible, though. Therefore, it should be easy to distract her from doing this. ]

I was hoping that I could have a suit made for me, as well as a tie and a pair of gloves to go along with it.

A suit, hmm? That shouldn't be that difficult... though I will need to take your measurements first to ensure a good fit. I've never made a suit to fit a woman before.

All right, I don't mind that. Where should I meet you?

836 Hastings Boulevard. Just ring the doorbell, I'll come out and meet you.

[ Click goes the phone as she goes out to have her measurements taken. ]

[And Rarity's waiting outside by the door at 836 when she gets there.]

[ Diana's not expecting the pony outside to be the one she talked with on the phone, so she'll just kindly knock on the door and wait for someone to come open it. ]

I hope this is the right address...

Oh! Hello! Here for your measurements?

[ That pony did not just talk.

She decides to slowly turn around and look at Rarity for a moment or two. ]

Er, yes. Are you the same person I spoke with on the phone?

The same pony, but yes, that would be me. My name is Rarity. It's a pleasure to meet you!

[ Ponies just don't... talk. ]

Um, I'm Diana Ethelbert. It's a pleasure, Miss Rarity.

Diana! A pleasure to meet you as well. Come in, won't you? The studio is in the back. Can I get you anything? Tea? Biscuits?

All right.

[ Well, this is new. She nods and follows Rarity over to her studio before thinking on her request. ]

They both sound lovely, thank you. I don't suppose you'd have Earl Grey, would you?

I'll see what I can dig up. Wait right there!

[Rarity's horn glows as she trots off into the kitchen. As she goes, the easy chair moves across the floor and gently under Diana, the footstool also moving in tandem. After all, any good host needs to ensure the comfort of her guests.]

Oh, we do have some! Just relax, make yourself at home, I'll be right out!

All right.

[ It's not like she's going to be going anywhere any time soon, so she watches Rarity work. She takes the invitation to sit down and makes herself right at home. ]

Very well. I'll remain here.

[After several minutes, a little silver tray with a teapot, two ceramic teacups, and a half-dozen small biscuit type cookies carefully balanced thereupon floats out of the kitchen buoyed by Rarity's magic, with the unicorn herself following not far behind. She pulls over a TV tray next to the chair Diana is sitting in and pours her guest a cup of tea - all also with her magic.]

All right, enjoy!

[ Color Diana impressed. Well, she already was, but this just makes the trip here worth it. She lets a gentle smile come forth and nods in thanks to Rarity. ]

Why thank you. This does mean a lot, both for the treats and for the help you've done for me so far.

[Rarity goes over to the corner of the room to sit on a purple plush velvet cushion, setting her own tray of tea and cakes in front of her.]

Oh, don't mention it! I like to make customers feel like they're right at home when I'm working with them.

[The teacup floats up to Rarity's lips, and she takes a small sip.]

Now then, tell me more about the sort of design you had in mind.

[ Diana takes a sip of tea and helps herself to one of the crumpets, making sure to eat it delicately. ]

That's certainly a good behavior to have.

[ Then, she reaches into her small bag she had and takes out a small notebook, flipping to a sketch (http://www.swide.com/binaries/content/gallery/2010/July/29/Chelsea-FC-official-suit-by-DG/OutfitChelsea/INSIDE/Outfit1_FootballPlayer_INSIDE.jpg) of a suit, only with the color being black and there being a red tie. ]

As you can see, I like to wear a suit for everyday use and I've been able to get by with what's been in my supposed "wardrobe", but it's not to my tastes.

Oh, that is rather sharp looking! A bit bland, though, isn't it?

It could be interpreted that way, but if you have any ideas for it otherwise, I'd be happy to hear them. Honestly, I'm just looking for practicality when it comes to Mayfield.

I was thinking maybe a little more color. Just around the trim, nothing too striking. Perhaps some dark hues of blue or maybe purple...

I could go for purple. Though, now you mention it, perhaps an embellishment or two on it?

[Rarity's face lights up like a Christmas tree at the word 'embellishment.']

I thought you'd never ask! Hold on a moment!

[She stands up and happily trots off into a room in the back, coming out with a plastic bag full of colored rhinestones.]

Here we are!

[ Rarity's cheerfulness garners a chuckle from her and she watches her go to the room in the back patiently. ]
